The Sanctuary
Unfolding the inner knowing.
This is perhaps the most personal bio for me to write, because I believe healing is one of the most intimate journeys we can walk.
My own journey did not begin with a single clear moment. I think it began quietly, as parts of my life were unraveling (sometimes wildly) and new stories were slowly weaving themselves together.
Looking back, I can recognize the soft whispers of this path long before I had the words to understand them. (My high school thesis was on a conversation I had with an Indian man who definitely knew me beyond the young girl that walked in his shop.) Little conversations with myself. Somatic experiences that left me curious. An early understanding that while we experience the world outwardly, we also experience an entire inner world within ourselves. My own complex family relationships also shaped a deep desire to understand myself, to care for others, and to learn how we can build stronger roots, more resilience, and a more connected nervous system.
Over the years, I have explored many different pathways of healing and self-discovery — from psychedelics and witchcraft to Zen meditation, sound healing, yoga, and somatic experiencing. Each one has offered me another doorway into understanding myself and the world around me.
I do not believe I have mastered anything. Ha! I'm merely looking for the keys on a giant key ring, jingling about, merrily. I am still learning how to navigate this human experience with more grace, presence, and resilience. The practices I share come from a very real and personal place. Honestly, I believe that without these tools, I would have struggled deeply to stay connected to myself and to the world around me.
These practices have helped me return to myself on the days I felt lost. They have helped me forgive myself, forgive others, soften, and reconnect with the parts of myself that needed love and attention.
I share these tools because I believe we all deserve opportunities to know ourselves more deeply, to cultivate self-love, and to reconnect with the mystery and magic of being alive.
I have been weaving these practices into my life for over twelve years. Here you can find my qualifications and certifications.
I offer sound healing, yoga, and breathwork from a place of honesty and integrity. I will share what I know, continue learning what I do not, and never offer anything beyond my own scope of ability or understanding.
My hope is to open conversations around personal development, self-knowledge, and connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to the greater web of life.
The Sanctuary is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and remember the wisdom that has always been within you.
